THE WRITE BRIDGE | MIND THE GAP | FALL 2022 JOURNAL ISSUE #4, #IdPubOn
Welcome to the digital edition of THE WRITE BRIDGE FALL 2022. Inside you’ll find selected articles, poems, plays and artwork from emerging authors and artists.
In this edition of The Write Bridge, authors explore the topics of Fortitude and Pusillanimity. If you’re looking for adventure and believe you’re up to it, the words within may give you pause. Sometimes courageous acts seem foolish looking back. If your feeling small or pusillanimous, the enclosed stories and poems might help you find compassion for your own frailties and impuissance, and that of others. We all quest for potency, significance, consequence. Consider George Gurley’s words from the enclosed poem, Crossing the Land Bridge:: “Remember when we started out with flint stones and the fear of fire, looking for the language that turns men into small-time gods?”

THE WRITE BRIDGE | MIND THE GAP | SPRING 2021 JOURNAL ISSUE #1
Words provide a vision and a way forward. As weavers of words, authors understand how words weave the world. In this edition of The Write Bridge authors explore the topic of inclusion, and offer up some pandemic prose.
Writers of prose and verse immerse themselves in a pattern of isolation and emergence—inhale and contemplate, exhale and communicate. As weavers of words, authors understand how words weave the world both through introspection and through sharing ideas with others. In this edition of The Write Bridge, authors explore the topics of isolation and emergence, exhaling and communicating with us to offer entertainment and enlightenment. Breath in.
